I was a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Intern at Amgen, a leading biotechnology company that develops innovative medicines for serious illnesses. I also obtained a Master of Science in Epidemiology at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, one of the world's top public health institutions. My academic background in Health Economics and my professional experience in Market Access, HEOR, and Integrated Evidence Generation have given me a solid foundation in data analysis, health policy, and health outcomes research.As an intern at Amgen, I work with a multidisciplinary team to support the development and implementation of HEOR strategies and projects for various therapeutic areas. I conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and economic modeling, and communicate the results to internal and external stakeholders. I also contribute to the preparation of publications, presentations, and reports. Previously, I interned at Bayer, a global pharmaceutical company, where I assisted in the design and execution of HEOR studies and market access initiatives. I also developed my bachelor thesis focusing on adverse outcomes in US-patients with atrial fibrillation treated with apixaban for stroke prevention using a nationwide US claims database. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving, as well as a keen interest in improving health care quality and access. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world challenges and to learn from diverse and talented colleagues.
