About Henrik Jessen

Scientist with broad knowledge in cell biology and physiology. I have been involved in several scientific projects applying in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo models. Particularly, I have worked on different cell models, which were used to validate potential pharmaceutical drugs. In addition, I have investigated the roles of specific genes in metabolism using mouse models. Another major focus has been to validate pulmonary fibrosis patients with blood-based biomarkers in my clinical studies. In general, I have been employing statistical models, such as mixed models, linear regression, and logistic regression, utilizing R programming language. I have likewise laid emphasis on developing and optimizing immunoassays and reporter gene assays. My industrial experience combined with my scientific background have given me a great perception of the pharmaceutical industry's needs in drug development.
