Future facilitation is the art of exploring burning questions now with a view to the upcoming years and growing together into the answers through exciting organizational development projects!We are a change management service provider based in Freiburg im Breisgau and Berlin / Germany. Designing and facilitating strategy and participation projects and thus making it easier for companies and cities to grow into their best possible future is our "daily business" and our passion.In addition to myself, Henrik Langholf, we are a network of colleagues and experts that has grown through many projects. Each one of us has a special expertise in strategy, organizational and cultural development, futurology, sustainability, bionics, circular economy and water resource management.

The Freiburg Water Festival, or WFF for short, takes up the idea of transformation research that, with all the crises we are currently facing, we should not always focus on the threatening. This strengthens the focus on dystopias, i.e. undesirable futures. We also need powerful visions in order to have a common, inspiring direction: In which direction do we want to develop collectively? What do we need to learn, develop and implement to achieve this? The WFF was founded with the heartfelt aim of helping to ensure that our oceans are clean again by 2050, and certainly free of further plastic pollution, thanks to a circular economy that functions perfectly on a global scale. Strictly speaking, the vision is even bigger: in addition to the wish that dolphins and whales can swim freely again without getting caught in plastic parts, we believe that ALL people can have sufficient clean drinking water, i.e. around 10 billion people in 2050! Isn't that a matter of course? Formats such as the "Water Innovation Lab", "Developing plastic-smart corporate strategies" and "Municipal/inter-municipal water dialogs" have emerged from the project in order to develop specific approaches for pressing water issues.

Releasing is a contemporary art of living. The term "releasing" comes from the American English and means "setting free" and "letting go". Releasing is a practical philosophy of life, awareness work and therapy method at the same time. Releasing is used in the field of holistic medicine (prevention, psychosomatics, rehabilitation), in humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy and in professional coaching. Other fields of practice include birth preparation, creative and artistic professions, adult and family education as well as bereavement and end-of-life care. What would a society look like in which "letting go" is seen, taught and valued as a skill? In order to explore this question and to develop projects accordingly, the Releasing Association Germany has been founded.

Development & management of the Collective Innovation Team

"Innovative learning" has been an early guiding concept of the Club of Rome in the 1970s, with which it wanted to point out that both "traditional learning", i.e. the acquisition of existing knowledge in familiar ways, and "learning after shock", i.e. learning from mistakes and critical events such as self-inflicted accidents, are not sufficient to prepare us for the future. What is needed is a new kind of collective learning that starts from the desired, desirable future, and then moves towards it using co-creative methods.In line with this idea, the Institute for Innovative Learning has developed and implemented holistic offers for team, management and organizational development.
