As head of software development at AIR SUPPORT, my role was leading a small engineering team to maintain the PPS flight planning application and systems. At the time, PPS was the leading European flight planning application for regional airlines and business aviation. Our focus was modernizing PPS from a DOS based system into a (at the time) modern .NET desktop application.
