I'm an educated CNC operator and that's what I worked with after I got out of school, but my main passion is programming and now I'm a full time Drupal developer.I've been writing JavaScript for the web since about 1998 when my programming interest started growing. I now have plenty of experience with from both small and larger projects with heavy focus on JS, and that's what I feel I'm best at.I've also been building websites for private use and for organizations looking for systems which are easy to manage and expand when needed, as well as having someone to consult when they need it. With that I gained a lot of experience in PHP, mostly with Drupal related projects. I now maintain a popular module over at drupal.org and help out patching wherever I can.The most fun I've had, outside of web related tasks, was writing a game prototype in Python during "Game Concept Challenge" at SOFE. Later we re-wrote it in C++, as part of our internship, after winning the competition. We were a small but dedicated team, the concept could have been better but it was still a great experience though!I'm a big fan of Open Source and free software, so I try to use free libraries and APIs whenever I can. This also lead me to Drupal, which is the CMS/Framework I prefer and have been using for a couple of years now.My goals are to learn as much as possible about [games and web] programming. Even if I won't find a job as a programmer, I find it is a very good way to keep challenging yourself and grow your knowledge. Lately I've been focused a lot more on web development than games, much thanks to the Drupal community, but they both get me very excited so I'm always looking...My spare time away from all the above I spend with my girlfriend and our animals - which now includes cats, dogs and sheep. I've always liked having animals around and she got me into herding with Australian Shepherds soon after we met. It looks like couples who herd together stay together. ;)
