As a Campus Event Production Assistant, I am part of the team that puts together events for student organizations, UVM departments, and corporate clients around campus.Responsibilities:- Configure Audio & Video equipment for hybrid/large-scale events- Implement room layout plans- Inform clients on how to use Audio/Video systems- Utilize Accruent EMS (Event Management System) for work orders- Obtain UVM Driver certification- Operate UVM-owned vehicles to transport equipment around campusIn this position, I have had the opportunity to contribute to such major events as UVM Commencement, UVM Move-in/Convocation, and the Northeastern Organic Farming Association (NOFA) VT Conference.

While working, I helped tens of thousands of guests efficiently and safely board chair, gondola, and carpet style ski lifts. Responsibilities:- Attend controls to ensure the lift runs optimally while also ensuring passenger safety- Assure that guests are able to pass through ticket gates smoothly, and inform them on the best use of their ticket when needed- Reduce wait times in crowded conditions by directing groups onto the lifts- Answer guest questions about the mountain and terrain conditions

- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC-R equipment- Ensure operation of critical systems during power outages- Troubleshoot issues such as malfunctioning air conditioning- Provide technical support for the guests and attached meeting center
