During my time in Paraná Banco I worked mainly with financial data, working together with data engineering team and business stakeholders developing solutions according to the business needs.Developed and maintained the production churn model for identifying operations at risk, constantly updating the model, suggesting and creating new features, testing hypothesis and monitoring model quality.Created several new features for the feature store, working together with data engineers and DS team.Responsible for developing and conducting several A/B tests with a pricing model for interest rates. The main technology stack was Python, Databricks, Apache Airflow, MLFlow and REST APIs.

In Laura (now called Munai), we were a very small team working in the Health Industry. There I was responsible for developing machine learning models to identify clinical deterioration onset in hospitalized patients using EHR (Electronic Health Records) data. To do so, I worked directly with physicians, nurses and health workers. Developed the company's first machine learning early warning score protocol to go into production, using supervised models to predict whether a patient was at risk or not based on EHR data. Responsible also for developing a microservices to integrate the models to the current backend services. Co-authored an abstract present in ECCMID 2019(European Congress of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases) with the title "Sepsis and clinical deterioration prediction based on a machine learning model".
