Based in Bangkok, responsible for overseeing financial functions at Huawei South-east Asia Region(cover 7 countries), including all aspects of regional financial operations, regional treasury, project-based financials and tax matters. I lead a team of skilled professionals that ensures all of Huawei SEA regional financial activities consider our commitment to corporate finance and Huawei SEA regional operations.

1). Assist Financial Controller to lead finance team (11 employees) and manage accounting/reporting and tax operation;2). Prepare annual financial planning, manage monthly rolling forecast and monitor the execution of budgeting; prepare actual financial reporting and convene management review meeting;3). Manage day-to-day AR/AP/FA/Inventory/Costing operation, incl. billing and collection, supplier invoice and payment processing, FA movement and counting, inventory movement, standard cost maintenance, and manufacturing cost variance analysis, and manage working capital and capex; 4). Perform financial analysis to support management for decision making, be involved in quotation and contract review processes;5). Initiate and be involved in cost reduction activities, such as 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing project, and restructuring plan; 6). Local treasury management, incl. bank account management, daily cash reconciliation, weekly cash status report, cost forecast, FX settlement and local funding (entrusted loan);7). Manage import/export contract (transfer pricing arrangement) and VAT refund processing on monthly basis, and maintain local tax compliance;8). Follow up internal control requirement by corporate, incl. yearly control self-assessment, SOX requirement verification testing and monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation;9). Coordinate with internal and external audit.

1). Lead FP&A and costing team (2 employees) and supervise day-to-day function;2). Setup standard costs for new raw material on daily basis and update standard costs for raw material every month, and setup standard costs for finish goods and update standard costs for finish goods once one quarter;3). Calculate and review labor rate, material overhead rate and manufacturing overhead rate on quarterly basis to be aligned with updated rolling forecast and be used for quarterly standard costs roll-up according to Corporate standard cost update schedule;4). Perform cycle count twice one week and annual physical inventory, and prepare cycle count/physical inventory report;5). Prepare inventory movement report and monitor inventory movement by product line, be involved in inventory disposal and RMA processes, and monitor inventory-in-transit and bill-on-hold inventory; 6). Prepare inventory aging report and E&O by product line, and perform inventory reserve analysis;7). Track and monitor customer NRE and identify the exposure, and follow up the collection;8). Perform manufacturing cost variance analysis, incl. material variance (PPV and BOM variance), material overhead variance, scrap/shrinkage variance, labor variance (rate variance and efficient variance), and manufacturing variance (rate variance, capacity variance, efficient variance);9). Prepare annual financial plan and 12-month rolling forecastaccording to corporate policy and management requirement;10). Prepare actual financial reporting package, incl. performance report (KOIs), expense analysis report and manufacturing variance analysis report;11). Be responsible for statutory account book. and local tax compliance (tax filing, local tax audit, and annual inspection).
