I started working for my high school when I was 15. I started out helping the grounds crew lay sod, cut grass and water the playing fields. That early experience of hard labor showed me the importance of teamwork, hard work and diligence. Honestly, I also enjoyed the physicality of the job as well. I soon found however the most rewarding part to be working as a team and helping the other members of the crew. I also found that I enjoyed a balance between helping people and working with a team at the Betty Griffin House in St. Augustine Florida. Working for a non-profit was both fulfilling and invigorating. I started only working on the dock accepting donations. I soon rose up to become a truck driver and an integral part of the Betty Griffin team. Eventually I was made Backroom Coordinator and directed workflow and product in the back end of the shop and shelter.When I moved up to Albany I again started at the bottom at a landscaping and hardscaping company: Wesscapes. I started as a laborer, and then was moved up to crew leader. From there I again rose up to Operations Manager. I love working with a team, and I am a great interface between the team, the customer and the work that needs to be done.
