Dr. Gregory is a mental health professional with over thirty years of experience. He holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and master degrees in Community Mental Health and Psychology. He has expertise and extensive experience as a clinician, supervisor, director, trainer, consultant and researcher in a number of service areas including child welfare, criminal justice, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, juvenile justice, school-based mental health, and behavioral health. Dr. Gregory’s primary clinical orientation is in family systems. He has specialized in the development of treatment models that are applicable to diverse service populations and the clinicians who deliver services to them. He has participated in the developed “Enriched Structural Family Therapy” to directly address the needs of urban families and at Progressive Life Center, Inc. he led the development of “NTU Psychotherapy” a culturally competent system of care that is spiritually based. Dr. Gregory consults and trains students and through his own organization, the Rafiki Consortium, LLC. He is focused on assisting students, families, clinicians, administrators and policymakers in understanding the strengths and resiliencies that sustain poor and Black families in spite of the great odds that many face.
