Working as the technical lead for the Windows 10 migration project for the Mountain Health Network facilities (St. Mary's Medical Center, Cabell Huntington Hospital, HIMG, etc.). Goal of the project is to remove a Windows 7 devices and replace with new Windows 10 systems. Each hospital is a unique environment and each department has different software needs. My responsibility was coordinating and tracking progress as we worked to replace these machines. This involved working with the end users, vendors, specialist and others to ensure smooth transition of data and applications.

Working as a lead field support technician with DXC. In this position I provide support for the AT&T client as well as the other DXC technicians that support AT&T. I also cover for my manger when he takes time off. In February of 2020 I accepted an area manager role with DXC. For the past year I've had a team of 35 direct reports on 8 different accounts that I've had to manage remotely. Starting April of 2021 they added another account with 12 more employees to my team. To say this job is a challenge at times would be an understatement. But, it has enabled me to keep working from home and I've had a lot of learning to do over the past year as a manager.

Transitioned from DIRECTV to AT&T. This change involved learning about moving system and accounts from DIRECTV’s infrastructure to AT&T’s. It also transitioned me to a more focused job role where I supported end user’s laptops and desktops both locally and remote. With it came experience with how AT&T operates and their internal procedures.

This started out as just management of the IT support team in Huntington, WV. In 2011 I was given additional responsibility aiding the call center partners (vendors). This includes support of technical issues, logging change management tickets into DIRECTV's change tool, opening connectivity access request when the partner change or add to their network. In 2014 management of an operation team that that managed critical incidents involving the partners. That includes managing a 24x7 on call rotation, managing the incident, reporting on the incident (during and after) then finally following up with the partner for any action items that might arise due to the outage (additional monitoring, hardware replacement, vendor recommended patches, etc.). Also, in 2011 we moved the entire call to a new facility just down the road of the old building. During this move I was heavily involved in the physical network layout, deploying new PCs, moving telephones and laptops and other devices to the new call center. This also wound up being a single night cut over to move the phones and staff to the new building. Then in late 2012 I helped build out the AT&T call center located in Eden Prairie, MN.

In this position I was responsible for the buildout of PRC's Huntington call center dedicated to DirecTV. Once the buildout was completed I was responsible for all aspects of IT within the call center. This included the initial setup/deployment of over 900 PCs and 700 phones, various networking equipment, four servers, two Avaya G650s, and three fulltime support staff. Once the deployment was finished my staff and I were responsible for the daily maintence and upgrades/changes to the systems as needed.

As an engineer for PRC I was responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of over 600 PCs and supporting servers. This included anything from daily helpdesk tickets and hardward repairs to preparing images and writing Visual Basic script files. My major contributions to PRC include a java proxy website blocking script, internal development of bootable USB keys for use with Symantec Ghost, help design PRC's current active directory structure, migrate from the old NT4 domain to the AD structure, opening of various client programs within PRC.
