I am a highly motivated person and a critical thinker who excels in working with people towards a common goal. I am a positive person that likes to motivate others to get the best out of them for the benefit of them and the team. I do believe there should be a common goal for the entire team, and with a common goal in mind the team can synergise and work towards achieving success. I strive to learn more from those with greater experience and knowledge than me, it allows me to improve as a person and help those around me. I am a dependable leader that works hard to accomplish the goals in a timely manner. While studying I was part of the rugby coaching staff at Pearson High School and a part time barman at The Blinking Owl. I was able to improve many of my skills during this time, specifically teamwork, leadership, responsibility, communication, and hard work. In 2020 I was asked to work at Broadway Liquid Management Systems to be their Chief IT Officer and with this I was the head software developer for our projects. I taught myself the necessary skills to work with the required hardware and software. The experience gained from working for a company that I have equity in was truly immeasurable. In March of 2021 I started a new position as a software developer at Wirk (formerly known as S4 Development Services). Working in a new environment with new team members is truly rewarding and great work relationships have come out of this. In February 2023 I became part owner of The Blinking Owl together with two of my business partners. After a very successful tenure with the business, I parted ways at the end of 2023 to focus solely on my software development career.
