As a member of Foley & Lardner's Intellecutal Property Department, Mr. Williams focuses his practice on assisting clients with developing and managing a wide range of intellectual property assets including trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement; acquisition, registration and enforcement of copyright assets; and development and management of client e-commerce and domain names. Mr. Williams has extensive experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Copyright Office.Mr. Williams also has extensive experience with domestic and international IP asset acquisition, licensing agreements, negotiation of complex settlement and coexistence agreements in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Williams received his undergraduate degree in Applied Computer Science (B.S.) from Illinois State University. Upon completing law school, Mr. Williams served as law clerk to the Honorable Susan Illston, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of California.
