Herbert S. Glaser, Angel Investor/Real-estate Investor Herbert graduated from the University of Hartford with a BA in Business Administration in 1989. He worked with G.A.L. MFG Corp. (largest family owned elevator parts company in the US) for 25 years and was instrumental in streamlining their operation. He served as Treasurer for 12 years at G.A.L. MFG Corp. He assisted in setting up elevator factories in China and Canada. In October 2014, Herbert left G.A.L. MFG Corp to pursue a more exciting life. Herbert was part owner of G.A.L. MFG Corp., Hollister Whitney Elevator Corp., Galaxy Controls Inc.. These companies were sold in 2016. Herbert is now part owner in POM-CO Partners Inc, P1 Generator Windings LLC, SBSS Co. in Sierra Leone in West Africa and IES Inc. He currently serves on the board of POM-CO Partners Inc and IES Inc. Herbert is also a real-estate investor in the tri-state metropolitan area, Schenectady NY and in Illinois. He is passionate about mentoring in lean manufacturing. Herbert loves golf, building furniture and spending time with his family.
