With over 12 years of experience in the health sector, I am a passionate and dedicated Patient Safety Manager at Digital Health and Care Wales, where I lead and coordinate the patient safety and quality improvement initiatives for digital health services across Wales. I have a Master of Science degree in Health and Public Sector Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, which give me a strong foundation in both the clinical and managerial aspects of health care delivery. I leverage my skills in data analysis, risk management, incident reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project management to ensure that digital health solutions are safe, effective, and user-friendly for patients, staff, and the public. I also collaborate with various internal and external partners, such as NHS Wales Informatics Service, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, and other health organizations, to share best practices, learn from incidents, and implement solutions that enhance patient safety and quality across the health system. My mission is to use digital health technologies to improve health outcomes, reduce harm, and empower patients and staff to provide and receive high-quality care.
