CurrentKey Lead Project Manager Role DescriptionPosition OverviewServes as the primary Project Manager responsible for executing acquisition projects for C5I systems, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and maintaining effective coordination between stakeholders.Core ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership- Acts as principal authority on task order performance- Maintains project continuity through Alternate Key Person designation- Forms and leads acquisition project teams- Defines project requirements through market research- Develops acquisition strategies aligned with government needsTechnical Management- Oversees C5I system acquisitions throughout lifecycle: - Design, development, and deployment - Analysis and evaluation - Operation and maintenance - System improvements and decommissioning- Manages implementations for shore-based and maritime assets- Collaborates with C5ISC Product Line Managers and Division representativesDocumentation & Compliance- Creates and maintains PWS documentation- Develops acquisition planning materials and solicitations- Ensures compliance with FAR, DHS HSAM, and USCG procedures- Produces evaluation reports and project briefs- Follows C5ISC acquisition guides and processesCommunication- Demonstrates strong English communication skills- Manages stakeholder relationships- Delivers clear project updates and documentation- Coordinates between government representatives and team membersRequired Skills- Expert knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and procedures- Strong project management and leadership capabilities- Excellence in written and verbal communication- Comprehensive understanding of C5I systems and their lifecycle management- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and complex technical requirements
