I thought I was retired for good, but I love what this company, REUZEit, Inc., is doing so much, that when they asked me to join them, I jumped at the chance and came out of retirement. REUZEit, Inc., it's name says it all, is a company whose time has come. In a world where we care so much about the environment, try to minimize waste, and strive for sustainability, they are taking in old equipment, especially medical equipment, that would have normally gone to the landfill, refurbishing it, and selling it so it can be REUZE'd. I like working for a company whose mission is to make the world a better place. Although they already have an online store (http://www.REUZEit.com), it's falling short of their rapid growth and the demand they are experiencing. So they brought me in to lead a team to develop a new online store like no other. These guys have a vision and I'm excited to be a part of the team.

RYTEway, Inc. is quality based company that I started back in the 80's for doing quality improvement and software development work. Before 2003 it was known as R and D Software. Currently it is not active since I'm working for fulltime elsewhere, but I maintain it for business reasons because RYTEway, Inc. is the registered owner of my boat which was originally purchased for the Charter Business.

I was hired to create and manage a Six Sigma program for my company. Over the next two years, I hired 5 Black Belts and trained/certified many Green Belts throughout the company. We ran a hard nosed approach to Six Sigma and completed several very successful projects. Four of the Black Belts I hired back then are still working with me in 2011. I consider our Six Sigma team to be one of the best in the industry!!

I was previously a Development Lead (aka Dev Manager) on the Visual Studio team at Microsoft, but was chosen to start a Quality Improvement program for improving the Software Development practices at Microsoft. One of our first decisions was to adopt Six Sigma as our main methodology and I earned my Black Belt certificate (the first at Microsoft) through the Juran Corporation. I ran several successful Six Sigma projects while at Microsoft proving that Six Sigma could be effective outside the manufacturing industry. I received Master Black Belt training through Microsoft but left before receiving my certification. I later earned my Master Black Belt certificate from my current company in 2007.
