I am a researcher and policy analyst with a keen interest in environmental and human rights research and policy development. In my current position I focus on the circular economy in the Netherlands and how it is connected to sustainability challenges at an international level, especially in low and middle-income countries.PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency is the national institute for strategic policy analysis in the fields of the environment, nature and spatial planning.We contribute to improving the quality of political and administrative decision-making by conducting outlook studies, analyses and evaluations in which an integrated approach is considered paramount. Policy relevance is the prime concern in all of our studies. We conduct solicited and unsolicited research that is independent and scientifically sound.

Development of benchmarking methodologies for Fair Finance Guide International studies. This includes studies on human rights, labour issues, arms trade and environmental degradation. Analysing campaigns of civil society organisations, by mapping and evaluating progress and lessons learned of key campaigns, and providing advice on future strategies.Assessment of CSR policies of companies and responsible investment policies of banks, pension funds, asset managers and other financial institutions, including implementation, through engagement studies and field research.
