My journey in the technology sector commenced in 2019 when I started working as a Marketing Analyst. I spent hours understanding user behavior and how marketing strategies work on online platforms. This exercise taught me a lot about how web and mobile applications work and helped me to define myself as a business analyst. As a Business Analyst at Wishtree Technologies, I worked on designing and developing web applications. My day-to-day activities involved requirement gathering, preparing process flow diagrams, writing user stories, and preparing low-fidelity wireframes for the upcoming web application. My passion lies in understanding user requirements and translating them into a design language that resonates with the end user. For instance, while working at Wishtree Technologies, I designed interactive wireframes for a web application to streamline the planning and budgeting process for one of the partner organizations of UNDP. I also worked on the e-commerce platform wherein I was responsible for requirement gathering and preparing wireframes for the revamping of the old website.My curiosity to know more about web design nudged me to learn tools like Adobe XD and Figma. I have a good understanding of both tools and have started creating my design portfolio which includes sample mobile and web applications. To further upskill, I'm currently studying a UI/UX professional course in a boot camp at the University of Minnesota.I'm always interested in discussing software-related business requirements, web application development strategies, and UI/UX strategies.
