Teaching Introductory Financial Management

Microeconomist within Oxera's financial services and competition teams, with additional specialisms in merger analysis, econometrics/big data and behavioural economics.- Experience of evaluating competition impacts in merger cases to assist with competition clearance, from pre-notification through to Phase II at both the UK and European level. Includes managing cases with budgets for economic analysis of over £500,000. Sectors include: telecommunications, retail, financial services, media- Additional competition economics experience in: estimating claims in follow-on damages cases; evaluation of antitrust cases; evaluation of competitive effects of information exchange; delivering competition economics training- Within financial services, I have particular experience in evaluating regulations and compliance in the consumer credit and insurance sectors. Given the nature of these industries, this frequently involves analysing consumer behaviour from a behavioural economics perspective

Part time economics, mathematics and statistics tutor to sixth form, undergraduate and graduate level students.

Performed extensive research to assemble information into concise text directly used in externally published reports. Responsible for constructing and evaluating large data sets. Managed junior staff in undertaking discrete tasks. Hold the role of proposals coordinator – searching out and evaluating new business opportunities for weekly presentations to the chairman.

Seven week Tax and Audit Rotation performing similar duties to new graduates. Time was split between working within the Enterprise Risk Services and the Energy Infrastructure and Utilities Tax teams.
