Train Driver
Current- Direct customer service, from the driverβs perspective is time limited, focusing on the differences from people who need care, attention and encouragement compared to a frequent traveler.
- Indirect customer service delivered through flexibility during every turn of duty, ensuring the balance is met between safety, punctuality and service; whilst adhering to rules, route factors and local instructions to.
- Out of course situations & faults, have occurred on several occasions, allowing me to draw on my training to deliver the safest and most customer friendly outcome. This has ranged from, making safety critical.
- Outside of the driving cab responsibilities include keeping up to date with all relevant publications, delay attributions paperwork, reports as required and retaining my traction competency and route knowledge.
