The underlying current through all of my professional and educational experiences has been my passion for connecting people with the information and resources they need, whether in the healthcare or education industries.I am interested in libraries, education, early childhood education, books and reading, literacy, organizing and sharing information, research, writing, editing, social media, aviation, healthcare, nursing, health literacy and information science, China, and the expatriate lifestyle.Having lived internationally for the last sixteen years in Costa Rica, Spain, Canada, and China, I am globally-minded and enthusiastic about new languages and cultures. I am fluent in English and Spanish, with an intermediate level of Mandarin Chinese. As an adult third culture kid I am continuing the tradition of my youth, when I lived throughout the western United States and in Kuwait.
