Worked on the team responsible for our Defense product's search backend, and a data analysis tool (akin to Excel). * Planned and executed a project to rewrite the data integration code for the analysis tool to integrate it with the rest of the platform.* Learned a lot about Elasticsearch & Databases, and did a lot of hard debugging on a massive legacy codebase.

Greater New York City Area

Summer internship. Worked in Django to improve site, from bugfixes to new features. Implemented search of Django models on top of ElasticSearch to dramatically improve site administration speed.

Developed a system of applications to automatically parse historic and current SEC filings and make them available for full text search from a web interface.
