Between 2006 and 2009 TCP leased acreage in the Williston, Piceance, Heath, and D-J Basins and has since sold the various acreage positions to Brigham Oil and Gas (merged with Statoil), Samson Resources, SingleTree Resources, Inc., Renegade Petroleum, Ltd., Woodstone Resources, ATX Energy Partners, Whiting Petroleum Corporation, Titan Oil & Gas, K2T2 Resources, Flatiron Resource, LLC, and Lymac Exploration and Production, retaining royalty positions in Colorado, Montana, and North Dakota.Mr. Cooper is an avid fly fisherman and skier. He spends most of his time at his ranch in North Western Colorado where he manages his cattle and hunting operations.

The company was ultimately listed on the American Stock Exchange. It developed the Eguryak License, located north of the super-giant Samotlor Field, in West Siberia through 50% ownership in Goloil, a Russian Joint Stock Company. Production was over 7200 BOPD with peak production estimated at 15,000 BOPD by 2006. This license was sold to Teton’s Russian partner in 2004. After successfully selling the Russian asset, Mr. Cooper re-deployed the capital to the United States and purchased a large gas asset in Colorado’s Piceance basis, with 600 drilling locations, with an average reserve base of two billion cubic feet of gas per location. Mr. Cooper resigned from the company in 2006 to pursue private drilling opportunities in the US and abroad.
