I enjoy team meetings, coffee, and coding. I’m very interested in expanding my technical knowledge and am open to learning different tools that will help a project meet its goals. I find it important to have a broad knowledge of different development environments and feel that my curiosity in this area has been demonstrated by having learned to be well-versed in not only Windows and Mac operating systems, but also Linux-based operating systems.I started my coding journey at LEARN Academy where I found myself in an intense coding boot camp. I was trained in Javascript, ReactJs, Ruby on Rails, and PostgrSQL to win the title of full-stack developer. The program spanned 640 hours and focused on individual, pair, and mob projects that quickly made us efficient with Git and Github. Not only was pseudo coding and organization a focus in the program, but testing via Jest and RSpec was required.I come from a background in marketing, as well as a video specialist for the Navy where I worked with military base managers to develop and create marketing strategies to promote their services to the sailor. Key elements of my role were to ensure that products were delivered in a timely manner and with personable and attentive customer service.
