Chris is the President and Founder of Hidden Story Productions (HSP), a company that helps people and organizations use digital media as a tool to educate, engage and advocate on social issues. HSP partners with clients to conceptualize their idea, research and investigate it, produce it and distribute it all within budget. What sets us apart is our understanding of the issues and how it fits into the larger context of the environment and humanity. Our hope is to cultivate the collective narrative to create a more compassionate and intelligent society.Chris produced three broadcast feature films "Elder in the Making", "Fox Chaser", and "Warrior Fathers", two of which won a Best Feature Documentary award. He has gone on to Executive Produce over 30 short films and a 360 projection exploring historical and contemporary Indigenous stories from across Alberta. These stories are now permanently installed at the new Royal Alberta Museum. Two films, Indian Rights for Indian Women and Here to Stay, were selected for the Calgary International Film Festival.Chris Hsiung recently completed a two-year project (despite a pandemic) as the Executive Producer of Content and Media for the immersive multimedia and content at the new Indigenous Peoples Experience (IPE) at Fort Edmonton Park. The IPE won the prestigious THEA Award for Outstanding Heritage Centre.He is currently working productions and designs for two other major museum projects.

Chris consults with entrepreneurs and small business owners both privately and through Momentum, a non-profit community economic development agency. He also, on occasion, will teach small business courses to aspiring entrepreneurs.
