The Austrian Trade Office Taipei is part of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber’s international consulting network and the official representative office of Austrian businesses in Taiwan.During my tenure I have led a team of consultants and leveraged my network of business contacts to facilitate the market entry of several leading machinery, IT, technology, logistics and consumer goods enterprises and supported their business activities, including market research, PR, event planning, manufacturing operations, sourcing, logistics, legal issues, regulatory issues, government relations, mediation and dispute resolution. In this role I was responsible for European technology promotion including DLT and blockchain starting in 2012.

The Austrian Business Agency is Austria’s official foreign investment consulting company. In the three years at ABA, I was responsible for advising Asian companies (Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore) before and throughout the process of investment in Central and Eastern Europe, including market evaluation, market studies, preparation of market data, location advice, financial, legal and tax aspects. In the process I built up an extensive network of contacts in the region.
