• Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, working in the field of Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering;• Develops research related to the following topics: multidisciplinary design optimization, aeroelasticity, design of aeronautical structures and conceptual design of conventional, hybrid, electric and eVTOL aircraft.

• Conceptual design of hybrid and electric aircraft;• Conceptual design of eVTOLs;• Development of methodologies for dynamic characterization and aeroelastic analysis of aircraft on the ground and in flight.

Development and studies involving:• Conceptual designs of hybrid-electric aircraft;• Dynamic and non-linear aeroelastic behaviors of non-conventional structures for aeronautical and aerospace applications.

• Professor of graduation courses in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

• Internship in product development engineering in the Noise & Vibration cell;• Participation in aeronautical product development projects (executive and commercial aircraft), noise mapping, investigation of vibration reports, simulations of aircraft interior thermoacoustic insulation, among other related activities.

• Worked on aeroelasticity and nonlinear dynamics of a beam-like structures under follower forces.

• Group of 12 students and a tutor;• Organized the Week of Mechanical, Mechatronic and Aeronautical Engineering - SEMEC (2012, 2013 and 2014 editions);• Organized the VII and VII PETMEC Challenge (competition of engineering projects);• Organized with UFU's 24 PET groups the Environment Weeks and UFU Course Fair for two years;• Taught a computer course for the elderly and underprivileged children; • Wrote and edited a quarterly newspaper;• Wrote the book entitled "Reports on the History of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: FEMEC 50 Years" which contains the history and evolution of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at UFU;• Scientific initiation project with the project of building and implementing a low cost wind generator.
