Planned and hosted three Impactathons with the Everett Impactathon Team that served over sixty young people. Impactathon are events inspired by Hackathons that empower young people to use technological tools for social good. Prior-to Impacathon responsibilities: Collaborating with the team to develop Impacathon curriculum and supporting with various logistical aspects of event planning (e.g. creating google form, reaching out to local High School counselors, getting materials ready). Day-of responsibilities included: Facilitating and Co-Facilitating workshops. Supporting attendees with learning and implementing their social justice and tech knowledge and skills to create their graphic designs or Twine stories.

Collaborated with three UC Santa Cruz students to support the Peruvian non-profit organization Kantaya expand their reach and impact through visual storytelling and donor services optimization. Kantaya transforms the lives of children in Peru by providing high-quality education coupled with a socio-emotional learning curriculum that empowers the children to believe in their ability to achieve their dreams.Our work included: · Assessing Kantaya's tech needs· Using ​design thinking to develop a plan to meet Kantaya's needs· Applying for funding and receiving a $9,108 grant from the Everett Program to implement our project· Implementing our project in Lima, Peru the summer of 2019 · Implementation of our project included: creating storyboards, capturing visual footage at the Kantaya learning centers (known as Casita Feliz), creating a video, optimizing Kantaya's donation options for U.S. donors, and hosting visual storytelling workshops for Kantaya students and staff.

Co-lead a team of students in creating programs to bring awareness to important local and global issues.

Collaborated with the Oxfam Club at UCSC officers in planning and hosting campus events to increase awareness about local and global humanitarian issues.

Supported students majoring and minoring in Anthropology in crafting their academic plans.

Performed tasks which included: stocking, pricing markdowns, transferring merchandise onto sales floor, processing transactions, maintaining changing rooms, responding to customer inquiries, and creating an overall pleasant customer shopping experience.
