I believe that we are able to live as our authentic selves when we are confident we know who we are. However, life is full of transitions, disruptions, and disturbances that throw us off balance and cause us to feel lost. I believe that healing begins when we can reclaim or reimagine our new identity in the wake of these changes.As a counselor-in-training, I work from an empowerment model. Through our therapeutic relationship, I hope that you will find confidence in who you are so that you are able to walk through the transitions and changes you are facing with resolve. You are the expert on you. And I am honored to hold space and bear witness to your growth.I enjoy working with expressive arts and activity based modalities. I also utilize principals from Person-Centered and Feminist Counseling Theories to inform my therapeutic techniques. I love to work with adolescents and adults across the lifespan.
