About Hilary Bowker, Msw

I currently run a small but mighty dating violence prevention program that operates in several Seattle public schools. I have worked in the domestic violence field for the past twelve years, and previously worked with teens in foster care and as an advocate for people experiencing homelessness. I am passionate about gender-based violence prevention, anti-oppression work, and teaching empathy. Some of my professional specialties include public speaking, group facilitation, community organizing and outreach, program development, curriculum development, staff supervision, and MSW field instruction. I have supervised MSW practicum students for the past eight years and it's one of my favorite parts of the job. When I'm not at work, I am usually playing with my son, partner and house beast. You might also find me singing karaoke, painting, watching comedies, re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, eating cookies, or spreading my vegan agenda.I love chatting all things prevention, so feel free to reach out!

Listed skills include Community Outreach, Social Services, Nonprofits, Community Organizing, and 12 others.
