Since being asked to serve as HOW's Health Education Director, I have developed and currently fundraise for and manage their Concussed Student Athlete Program (CSAP). Among these responsibiities, this role entails producing annual Brain Health Interviews as well as presentations on "Concussion Awareness, Prevention and Treatment" for school athletic departments and other youth organizations. In order to expand HOW Foundation's reach and train the next generation of leaders in innovative healthcare, I work with local university's career departments to recruit the best and brightest college interns as well as a few exceptional high school interns who form the Sports Ambassadors, Grant Writing and Research Intern Teams I manage for CSAP. Working with very well-respected, patient-centered MD's, we are currently in the process of raising funds to help concussed Student Athletes, including equestrians while continuing to conduct Brain Health Awareness/Education Seminars and Concussion Education for the medical community, the general public, youth sports and youth equestrian communities.

HOW's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities by advocating for and providing access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy. As Community Outreach and Engagement Director, I recruited and managed volunteers, attended Chamber of Commerce educational, community and networking events, invited key people to tour HOW Foundation and expedited follow up and next steps, participated in HOW Foundation Events, researched HBOT for concussions, post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries. Caring, Effective, Patient-centric Physical Therapy Services since 1995. The largest private P.T. space in the area, with 9 very experienced therapists including 6 Physical Therapist's, 2 Occupational Therapists and 1 Speech Therapist who work with a variety of diagnoses and issues including: joint replacements, strength & balance, neurological issues, backs & necks, sports injuries, and TMJ. All patients receive one-on-one treatments by an experienced therapist with advanced training in a beautiful, clean, relaxed, effective, friendly & "family-type"​ environment in the same building with Visiting Nurse Association Community Healthcare. After their appointment in our treatment center, patients can go right down the hallway for any other needed healthcare or eldercare related services from the VNACHC for themselves, family members or friends as a continuum of care. Parkinson's exercise classes, yoga & Tai Chi exercise classes, blood pressure screenings and flu shots, fall risk prevention, caregiver support, home health aides, psychiatric nursing and adult day care are some of their extensive offerrings.

Responsible for acquiring and promoting patient referrals (the practice required 50 patient visits a day for treatment by the team). Patient referral goals accomplished and exceeded by visiting health care provider offices to promote our PT, OT and Speech Therapy services to help their patients and reduce readmissions; conducting patient satisfaction surveys in person and over the phone; facilitating and attending events relevant to the medical and health fields concentrating on matters related to best practices for outpatient PT, OT and Speech therapy; work with the team to liason with local healthcare and community organizations including VNA Community Healthcare and Chambers of Commerce; co-manage physical therapy intern project with DPT physical therapist and undergraduate PT students; write articles and press releases relevant to our work at Rehab Concepts PT; project manager for new "Benefits of Exercise for Seniors"​ presentations and screenings by the physical therapists at senior housing facilities, new "Dance for Parkinsons"​ class at VNA Wellness Center led by physical therapist, arrange inservice presentations by physical therapist on "Home Safety Assessments"​ and by speech therapist on "How Speech Therapy Helps PD Patients"​; develop and update facebook, twitter and our other social media for patients, clinicians and the community. Active member of VNACHC "Health Neighborhood"​, Madison Wellness Fair Committee, Guilford Chamber of Commerce "Health & Wellness"​ Committee. Producer for CSHN Health Literacy video on best practices for Patient/MD communications through support of Branford Cable TV in 2014; presenter for "Campaign to Reduce Antibiotics Misuse" at Kickoff event in 2015.

In 2002 I initiated and developed a joint venture between Pilots Point Marina, Brewer Yacht Sales and Steve Colgate and Offshore Sailing School Corporate with the support of Jim Taylor, Naval Architect for the purpose of increased marketing and sales of the award-winning Colgate 26, especially in the New England area. As a result, over 13 years I ended up selling more than 60 of these award winning boats; both new and previously owned. In his group sales efforts, Mr. Colgate sold a fleet of these fun, safe multipurpose, and well built sailboats to the Naval Academy as well as to Maine Maritime Academy as well as various sailing and yacht clubs. Initially, I had been promoted to Branch Manager one year after joining Steve & Doris Colgate's Offshore Sailing School as an instructor in 1997 on the Colgate 26 sailboat in its 2nd season.

Very successful, fun summer for students and their families. Recruited and managed top race coach and instructor team and oversaw racing team students take 1st place in Regional Team Racing Championship for 1st time ever and placed 2nd in Regional All Stars. Liasoned with Board, parents and club staff.

Tripled Jr. Sailing Program in 3 years to fully sold out and maintained that for entire time period while quadrupling Adult Sailing Program and teaching Adult Sailing lessons. Began & developed a competitive Jr. Racing Program that qualified for the Regional Finals every year starting in 2006. Developed successful events such as: "Sail For The Athletes"​ which raised $20,000 worth of funds and equipment for CT Special Olympics Sailing Team, America's Cup Centennial Presentation by Gary Jobson at Water's Edge Resort; organized Jr. Sailing Program fundraising participation during Leukemia Cup inaugural year at Pilots Point, raising over $1,200 with the junior sailors, their parents & instructors.

Lectured for 2 hours daily and applied these concepts on the water for 4 hours each afternoon. Promoted to Branch Manager after 1 season as Instructor. Responsible for training and supervising instructor team and teaching successful 3 day long sailing courses while quadrupling Sailing Club Members. Successfully sold a variety of OSS sailing courses at Boat Shows off season in order to increase enrollment.
