Hey! I'm Hilda, a Registered Nurse with a background in delivering compassionate care in pediatrics and public/community health settings. My passion lies in advocating for youth and addressing social determinants of health, with a focus on underserved communities, particularly within black populations.Currently, I'm pursuing my Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Waterloo. This journey allows me to merge my clinical knowledge with my interest in population health and program development. I'm dedicated to continuous growth and learning within the healthcare system, motivated by a desire to effect meaningful change in health outcomes, especially among youth and racialized communities.
