Pastor/Chaplain/Wedding officiantThis chapter in my life has taken my wife of 48 years and me, to Alberta. I bring along years of experience that hopefully means something to those I serve. 14 years as a pastor in Toronto and 2 as a missionary in the country of Estonia. I have been a Police Chaplain on and off since 2002, most of it with the Toronto Police Service @ 14 & 11 Division and earlier at 41 & 31 Division. Had a stint at Traffic Services as well. During that time I helped in debriefs for those officers first on the scene of the Yonge Street van attack in April 0f 2018. I was on the scene after a TPS officer was murdered in a Tim Hortons in September of 2022. In 2019 I traveled to Ukraine where I helped to introduce Police Chaplaincy and later taught at their academy via Zoom on 3 occasions. I received a medal from the Ukraine government for this. I have been a chaplain at Toronto Pearson Airport and a workplace chaplain on 3 different occasions and I was also the first chaplain with Badge of Life Canada. Today I am the Chaplain Coordinator for Boots on the Ground Alberta.
