At the Waterford Long Term Care I am responsible for offering spiritual programs for the residents. There is daily interaction with the 168 residents and their families. Coming up with new and unique ways to meet the spiritual needs of residents is always interesting and challenging. The stories I hear from these residents of lives well-lived is often humbling and seldom boring.

As a volunteer chaplain at Toronto Pearson International Airport I got to be part of a community of over 40,000 employees. Add to that a traveling public that numbers close to and this year, over 40,000,000, and there was no shortage of work. I was also part of the emergency response team.

The Corporate Chaplain is responsible for a wide variety of employee caregiving, including counseling, advice, corporate & community promotion of company values and culture, referral and resourcing of a variety of assistance for all employees, performing weddings, funerals or various religious services as requested, assisting in safeguarding employee morale, providing input on business ethics and implementing & offering methods of improving employee retention and over-all well being. In short, he is an advocate for the employees.Also initiated the Wellness Program which he also led.
