I work in collaboration with City Officials, architects and stakeholders to design and create a public landmark honoring the founder of the Manassas Industrial School and the surrounding community.Cultivation of foundational concepts of the monument design in collaboration with committee.Collaborate with historians and experts to research the communal significance and local history of Jennie Dean and the founding of the Manassas Industrial School in order to incorporate historical details and creatively design symbolism in final bronze sculpture.Participate in design reviews, production meetings and site surveys. Receptive to committee feedback and constructive criticism in the prototype design. Produce 3D models with design specifications and calculation for architectural firm, foundry and granite mason.Provide design media in various digital formats for promotion and publication.

As a Graduate Assistant I had dual roles as an exhibit technician and assistant for multimedia projects. I assisted in the preparation, layout and installation of rotating gallery exhibitions. I was also responsible for the online gallery image database- featuring faculty, graduates, undergraduates and visiting artists. I created promotional content for the administration and the department’s online campaign, art.edinboro.edu, and publication, The Graduate School Newsletter. I conducted, shot, edited and produced interviews of current art students in order to promote a positive experience with the University’s graduate and undergraduate programs.
