CurrentI have experience in transactions involving environmental risk and have negotiated and drafted contracts, escrows and insurance documents in which the environmental risk was a small part of a transaction and also when the transfer of environmental risk was the main motivation for the transaction.I also played a key role in the $290 million redevelopment of a leading health care company’s corporate headquarters in St. Louis. I handled property acquisition of the various parcels of land where the project was constructed, construction financing, development and leasing. I am currently handling leasing and construction financing for a new $700 million development, the largest in St. Louis.In my practice, I negotiate and draft leases and related agreements. I coordinate leasing objectives with overall design, development and management plans for the building or project. This includes the negotiation of commission/listing agreements, management agreements, development agreements, work letters and loan documentation.I work with clients in all areas of land use, development, construction, finance and leasing issues relating to build-to-suit and design-build projects. I also counsel developers and owners in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties. I negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements and conduct legal due diligence for properties including office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, industrial, flex/office and mixed-use projects.I am director of the Women's Inclusion Network, which creates a positive environment for women attorneys through mentoring, networking and education.
