Over the past 30 years, Hillary has worked in the STUDIO with artists such as Bootblacks, IKON, The Prids, Bell Hollow, Michael Gira (Swans, Angels Of Light), Second Still, The Secret History, Inger Lorre, Jeff Buckley, The Misfits, Rufus Wainwright, The Ramones, Bishop Allen, Project Jenny, Project Jan, The Secret History, Nile Rodgers, Vernon Reid, D Generation/Jesse Malin and producers including Henry Rollins, Lenny Kaye, Genya Ravan, and Daniel Rey. Hillary has also been MASTERING independent releases as well as doing LIVE SOUND for 10 years. She has mixed live performances at NYC parties Wierd and Nothing Changes for performers such as Psychic TV/Genesis P. Orridge, The Chameleons, Cult Of Youth and Xeno & Oaklander and has toured the US and Europe with NYC band Bootblacks. In addition to being a recording veteran, Hillary is a TECHNICIAN and has worked at Sound On Sound Studios, Legacy Recording Studios, Avatar Studios as well as wired studios for The Mars Volta, Future Shock/Alex Newport, Paul Gold/Salt Mastering, All Mobile Video, School of Visual Arts, Naked Music and various other studios and facilities. She has also maintained sound systems for NYC venues Home Sweet Home, Niagara and several others. Hillary is currently the lead project design engineer at Paladin Technologies (formerly Spectra Audio Design Group), an audiovisual engineering and integration company.Hillary has been a Senior Contributor for Tape Op Magazine and has been a panelist and moderator for TapeOpCon conferences (2002-2007) as well as a panelist for the Indie Music Forum with Mark Mothersbaugh, Larry Crane (2000) and Ladyfest Scotland (2001). She has also been an instructor for Manhattan Recording Workshop (1999-2000). HI-FI HILLARY spins old/dark/new/cold wave at various underground NYC clubs including Contempt, Disko Nouveaux, The Red Party, Wierd and Nothing Changes, other various parties and shows. She has also played keyboards and percussion with Bell Hollow (2006-2008) and keyboards, theremin and percussion with Crowns On 45 (2000-2002) as well as other live performances with The Long Losts and IKON. She currently does a livestream DJ event featuring interviews and video with guests called KALE SHELTER.
