As the founder of Aveksha Foundation, I led initiatives to raise awareness and provide critical resources for individuals with rare diseases, such as Muscular Dystrophy. Our team educated the public on the challenges of living with Muscular Dystrophy and organized fundraisers to supply wheelchairs for those affected. Additionally, we collaborated with a student organization to raise over $1,500, providing vital medicines to elderly care homes in need through donation drives and community outreach.

Co-founding Project Swayam allowed me to tackle the issue of elderly mental health by creating meaningful activities that helped them reconnect with their passions. Our team worked closely with elderly women to organize workshops, fostering a sense of community and empowerment. During the 2020 lockdown, we raised ₹50,000 to provide essential groceries and support to elderly care homes in need. As part of the 1m1b Future Leaders Program, I had the privilege of presenting our project at the United Nations Headquarters, where Swayam was honored with the H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam Youth Volunteer Award in 2023 for its positive impact on mental health and social well-being.

As a Marketing Intern at Morning Fresh, my main focus was identifying potential business opportunities through outreach. I contacted over 100 wedding planners, helping initiate partnerships promoting the company’s products in niche markets. In addition, I assisted in gathering market research data to support the development of targeted marketing strategies. These efforts contributed to increased brand visibility and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.

As a Strategy Intern, I supported research efforts focused on rare diseases and the availability of orphan drugs in India. I assisted in gathering and organizing data that helped the team assess supply chain opportunities for more affordable drug manufacturing. Additionally, I contributed to implementing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which streamlined query handling and improved response times by 30%. Throughout my internship, I gained exposure to various operational challenges and helped compile insights shared with team leads for further consideration.
