1. Optimizer This project was written from scratch in Cisco. It’s an Enterprise product which gives a deeper insights into the cost incurred across multi-cloud. The usage is broken down into different granularities (cost by provider, account, time etc.) which were projected through charts. The system produced various recommendations through which an Enterprise could optimize there cost. The top features included cost by custom/imported cost groups, budgeting, tag based cost etc.1. Part of the initial/core team responsible for defining scope and designing features. 2. Implemented core microservices of the product namely * Reservation Analyzer :- Gives in depth analysis of how reservation are getting utilized and generates recommendations for optimizing it’s usage or to purchase more. * Tag Analyser :- Collected cost at tag level across clouds and aggregate them with custom tags created by user at Optimizer level. * Right Size Analyzer :- Collects/reports metric data across clouds and generates recommendations for downsizing, upsizing, terminating and suspending resources. * Management API :- Optimizer APIs to render cost related data on the UI. * Shared API :- Shared API’s to get inventory details across clouds. 3. Worked with Cloud Provider team, a team dedicated to write scalable APIs to query clouds. Implemented various inventory and billing API’s for Optimizer using RxJava. 2. Cloudcenter This software is used to securely deploy and manage applications in multiple data centers, private cloud, and public cloud environments. This software solution helps you modernize and automate your data center or add public cloud application deployment to your service offering.1. Implemented dynamic billing for cloud automation framework. Earlier all clouds were getting billed on an hourly basis, rewrote to support per sec/min/hourly billing as supported by individual cloud. 2. Implemented metadata auto sync functionality.

Cmpute analyzes cloud-deploy workloads and consumption patterns and identifies cost-optimization strategies, such as right-sizing AWS instances, and recommending spot vs. on-demand pricing vs. reserved instances. This resulted in cost reduction upto 84%.1. Part of the initial/core team responsible for defining scope and designing features. 2. Implemented core functionalities namely * Cmpute engine :- This engine was responsible for orchestrating spot instances on AWS. It monitored the spot instances bid patterns and replaced them in case they were expected to be terminated by AWS. * Services :- Various AWS services were written as wrapper around Cmpute engine to support a similar ecospace as AWS. These services included Autoscaling Groups, Opsworks, Elastic beanstalk, Elastic container service etc. * Scheduler :- To run workloads across AWS jobs were created at Cmpute. The scheduler took care of launch, suspension and termination of these jobs. * Notification System :- Workload state updates were sent to customers via email and webhooks. 3. Implemented Media Solution to transcode, stitch, watermarking etc operation on media files given by the client.

1. Adserving Mobile ad network and mobile app monetization using first-party data and the most advanced targeting and ad formats. 1. Worked on Ad server engine to scale for handling large concurrent demand. Wrote key large modules using akka framework e.g., geo resolution using IP. The module also does fraud detection like Fraud IP Detection, Blacklisting IP, Gateway IP sanitization using Pixalate data. Wrote crons to populate data in EhCache and BloomFilter. 2. Shifted the beacon handling process from MySQL to Aerospike (NoSQL) to reduce network latency. 3. Worked on proxy that retrieves data from Aerospike asynchronously. Customized the proxy for multiple keys and added required parsing at proxy level according to different business requirements. 4. Worked on the third party feeds integration and auctioning. This involves getting ads from partners like inneractive, mobfox, inmobi etc. at runtime and making them auction against in-house campaigns. If won, these campaigns are customized to serve ads formats offered by Airpush. Wrote the module for sending dynamic bids and controlled traffic to third parties based on various geo targeting across multiple campaigns. 5. Worked on an earlier rewrite of the adserving engine from PHP that was unable to scale, to Lua using moonscript, a language that compiles to Lua. Wrote modules for audience targeting, business driven targeting like app targeting, Ip targeting etc.

Seven Dwarfs : The Queen’s ReturnGame by Disney Interactive for IOS and Android. The game revolves around rescuing the princess and other dwarfs by restoring the destroyed city by the witch.Wrote the feature that saves the state of the game at any instance. This feature was introduced to facilitate the user who intends to play the game different or make different choices as he/she made before. Multiple states could be saved and deleted.Worked on other level oriented features related to the game like generating timed clearables, attacks etc.

Marvel Avenger Alliance (Android)The game was a 3 on 3 turn based fighting game. My contribution to this project involved re-writing the animation front end code from Objective-C to C++.
