As a Wayleave Officer, my daily responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting and changing QGIS designs at each stage of the build process.I am proficient in programs such as QGIS, One Network, Land Registry, Microsoft Office, Magic Maps, Heritage England, SharePoint, and Freshdesk. Vital aspects of my role include building and maintaining positive relationships with individual freeholders and developers. Ensuring all trackers and reports are up to date so that reporting figures are accurate for the SLT team. Offering feedback and improvements to current ways of working, drafting letter templates to assist with business needs and increase engagement. Overseeing the failed activations across the uk. Offering support to my peers as well as the wider team, supporting the design team, build and fibre team with wayleave queries. I attended a MHFA course to support colleagues which is something I am passionate about. I have recently attended a streetworks course with Streetworks Solutions Ltd to build my knowledge and understanding of other aspects of the business. We undertook In-house training with Trenches Law which I have applied in my day-to-day work resulting in great achievements in getting difficult agreements across the line. I have consistently achieved highly ambitious targets as well as received the company's recognition award for going the extra mile on numerous occasions.

I wanted the opportunity to experience something new and challenging. I enjoyed being part of the community and caring for service users, building relationships with people and ensuring my work was carried out to a high standard whilst also adhering to health and safety procedure. However, I was missing being part of an active and dynamic environment and looked into moving on to a new role which I would find more challenging.

During my time at Costa I worked through all levels of employment from Barista through to Store Manager. Progression came quickly for me due to my strong work ethic and ability to be proactive and implementing necessary changes to improve the everyday running. I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the store and ensuring my team worked effectively and efficiently in my absence. Duties included adhering to company legislation and that of the local authority, Finances and budgets, stock, team 1:1s and training, whilst putting the customer at the forefront of everything we did. I spent nearly a decade building relationships with our customers meaning our customer satisfaction and feedback scores were one of the highest in the country.

During my time at Ramada Birmingham North (now Holiday Inn) I experienced all aspects of the business, starting as a food and beverage host I worked through Reception, the kitchen, events and conferences and also the restaurant. Progression came quickly for me due to my strong work ethic and eye for detail. I quickly moved up to Duty Manager where I was responsible for upholding high customer service experience from both myself and my team, scheduling, and running events such as conferences and weddings where I would often act as master of ceremonies. Within a short period, I had learnt every aspect of running a successful hotel and events venue.
