Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) have selected Scarborough Transit Connect as the development partner ((known as the “Dev Co”) to enter the development phase of the Stations, Rail and Systems (SRS) contract for the Scarborough Subway Extension project. The SRS package for the Scarborough Subway Extension is being delivered using a Progressive Design-Build (PDB) model.The scope of work includes:- Design and construction of three new underground stations and bus terminals at each station.- Design and construction of emergency exit buildings and service buildings, and traction power substations.- Installation, testing and commissioning of all systems equipment and interconnection with existing TTC systems.- Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of all rail and track components and a pocket track east of Kennedy Station.

• Conducted transportation research, including data collection and analysis and literature review.• Utilized transportation modeling software and GIS tools to evaluate traffic flow, transportation demand, and accessibility.• Collaborated with faculty and staff on research projects, contributing to project development, implementation, and dissemination of findings.• Drafted reports and presentations to communicate research findings to academic audiences.

• Assist and support in project take-offs, estimates and quotes; managing costs; and successfully transitioning a bid into project fulfillment. • Review contracts, determine revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.• Coordinate all purchasing for the assigned projects, including preparing product cut-sheets, templates, shop orders, liaising with vendors, and tracking purchases.• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.• Maintain communication and provide project progress reports to Sales Representative.• Assess project risks and/or issues and provide solutions where applicable in collaboration with Sales Representative.• Ensure stakeholder/customer views are managed towards the best solution and coordinate with other divisions and staff to ensure efficient fulfillment of customer needs across all potential lines of business.• Provide technical assistance.• Provide administrative support as needed.• Create and maintain a project coordination calendar/schedule for fulfilling project(s) goals and objectives to ensure project deadlines are met.• Execute billing of all contract and non-contract sales in accordance with company guidelines.• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through a variety of methods (publications, workshops) as appropriate.

• Maintain project files.• Communicate with the trades.• Assist in receiving quotes from sub trades.• Review and compare quotes from sub-trades and help Sr. Estimator in setting up the budget.• Communicating both inside and outside the company, to give and receive information (i.e. Internal: Co-workers and External: Suppliers, Vendors, Customers, Contractors).
