I coordinated and executed all of Funding’s marketing efforts, including but not limited to:- social media management and posts - written content planning and execution - video content planning and execution - creating marketing collateral - managing third party relationships with media agencies and broker aggregation groups - ad design - eDM mapping, creation and execution- overall marketing strategy As Funding is a marketplace, I ensured all content is curated for both the investor and broker/borrower sides of the business. I also worked closely with an external paid performance manager to optimise the business’ SEM strategy and goals.When I commenced this role I was required to educate myself on private lending, broker relationships and property investment, and have since used that knowledge to tailor and fine tune marketing content that meets the needs of the wider business. In doing this, Funding has already experienced growth in the number of borrowers and investors using the platform.

This job allowed me to flex my creative flair and write about everything travel and macroeconomic related. My role required me to take a broad range of often complex information and translate it into easy to understand and enjoyable content in line with brand and digital marketing guidelines. Throughout this role I taught myself macroeconomic fundamentals as well as conducted countless hours of research on a sea of topics, many of which I had to relate back to foreign exchange in one way or another, which required high-level abstract thinking and creativity. I began this role six months after a complete website redesign that had resulted in a significant decline in organic traffic and rankings. Since starting, my key achievements include:- Creating and implementing a content strategy for two countries in line with the brand, SEO and broader business needs that accounted for seasonality and emerging content trends. - Driving organic traffic through twice a week 'top stories' commentary on the value of the Aussie Dollar for travellers, as well as forecasting blogs across our currency suite. - Creating a surge in organic growth (our key channel) and doubling organic traffic to our key page (US Dollar). Before starting this role, our ranking for the US Dollar page dropped dramatically as a result of the website redesign. After four months in the role, my content drove the US dollar page to be ranked #1. - Increase in website average transaction value for those customers that read my content in the same session as a purchase.In May 2019, I was lucky enough to continue my role remotely while travelling through Asia, Europe and the USA before settling in Toronto, Canada. From May 19 to March 20, I continued to work with the marketing team and broader TMG business to exceed content goals and develop new content offerings that would continue to engage our customers online and in-store.

As part of a 6 person team, we looked after all aspects of marketing for Travel Money Australia and New Zealand. I began as the company was in the thick of a brand redesign that injected some fun and personality into the products we sell and the way we communicate with our audience. My role was centred around local store marketing and front line communication. I worked with over 150 stores across Australia and New Zealand on their individual marketing strategies to ensure they were cost effective and in line with brand standards. I focused on building strong relationships with stores and external marketing professionals and third parties, as well as delivering marketing material of the highest quality.

Part of the 2017 Retail Graduate Program, I help customers fulfil their travel dreams whilst also working alongside business leaders to increase my expertise. My role required me to research destinations, create and book itineraries and provide premium levels of customer service.
