Passionate, focused and objective writer and historian with a passion for historical research, especially related to the American Civil War. I also have a passion for researching Christian history, Military history, the Crusades and Early Modern European history.I have a Bachelor of Arts in History and while a student was provided an opportunity to lead a Civil War battlefield tour in southeast Missouri. I have also participated in Civil War reenactments and living history events. I have written many online articles relating to various events and people in history and many have been featured articles at their respective sites.My current projects are writing my first book relating to the American Civil War, a cemetery research project to locate, document, and compile the Civil War era soldiers in Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas and to continue my studies in history.I founded the South Central Missouri Civil War Round Table in 2011 and served as the President from 2011 to 2012. I have also been an officer in two of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Old Abe Camp #16 I was the Senior Vice Commander as well as Graves Registration and Signals Officer, and in Sigel Camp #614 where I was a charter member and secretary.I am currently a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, The Society of Civil War Historians, The Kansas Historical Society, The South Central Missouri Civil War Round Table, and The Cold War Veterans Association.I am a United States Army Cold War era Veteran, husband and father of three.
