Growing up my parents cultivated in me a passion for learning and a desire to do everything well. Over the years this has brought me on quite a few adventures.In high school I wanted to learn French. Immediately when I graduated I moved to France, lived with a family as an au pair, and learned conversational French through immersion. Today I'm working towards learning Polish and Hebrew.After spending 3 months in Israel for an academic fellowship, I ended up in several conversations about the Holocaust, especially related to the importance of Holocaust education and how memory of the Holocaust has shaped the modern State of Israel. I knew I needed to learn more. A year later, I moved to Poland. During this time I worked remotely for Artza an Israeli start-up. I spent several trips travelling between Poland and Israel which inspired my thesis: Current Cooperation Between Poland and Israel. A legal thesis focusing on the legal relations between the two countries since the Holocaust. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. During my time in Poland I knew it wasn't enough just to learn more about and to remember the Holocaust, I needed to do something. I then volunteered at the Brama Grodzka (museum preserving Jewish history in the Lubelski region) assisting in the English translations for the map of Operation Reinhard and volunteered at the JCC Krakow's annual Ride for the Living to celebrate the renewal of Jewish life in Poland.For the past 3+ years I'm currently working at Artza, an Israeli start-up helping connect people to Israel through supporting small Israeli businesses and charities all while bringing ancient and modern Israel to life.
