Developer on ESA's Internal Problem Notification System, an internal web application used by engineers to communicate problems that might lead to project failures. Simplified the backend using Spring MVC and Hibernate, and enhancing the end user experience with Ext JS.Lead developer for the ESA Alert System, used for issuing the highest level of alert notifications between ESA and the space industry. The system allows ESA to notify manufacturers about component failures and prevents future projects from being affected. Leveraged the Scriptaculous and Prototype JavaScript libraries to improve the ESA Intranet user experience. By incorporating ajax and rewriting web pages to comply with strict CSS and HTML standards I successfully enhanced the overall usability and browser compatibility of the site.
