Administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, answer patient call-light via Hill-Rom System at nurse station, setting up supplies for different areas in L&D (recovery, triage, labor), making baby bags, checking and restocking PPE carts, bedside carts, warmers, and monitor’s drawers, cleaning equipment such as IV poles/pumps, decluttering and putting away supplies, turning rooms over after delivery or discharge in triage, picking up food trays at 8am, 3pm, and 8pm, transporting laboratory samples, restocking and organizing linens in L&D (recovery, triage, labor).Assisting Registered Nurses with the following duties: Electronic Medical Record Documentation including physical assessments and vital signs, attend deliveries including turning patient, use of peanut ball, and holding leg for epiduralized patients, linen changes, turning and pericare for patients on bed rest, Accuchecks and glucometer controls for the shift, including documentation, medication administration, IV placement, phlebotomy, CAUTI bundles: insertion of Foley catheters, empty Foley, label Foley bag, check dependent loops, sheet clip in place, set up sterile field and all instruments on delivery table for vaginal deliveries, assist as directed during cesarian deliveries.

A primary function of ensuring compliance with regulation is educating the public regarding the Federal, State, County regulations, including NESHAP and OSHA, where relevant. Additional compliance measures include field visits to observe work in progress.
