• Oversee wishes, encompassing all aspects of the wish granting process through completion.• Implement wish-granting training programs for volunteers, including orientation and continuing education. * Greet, schedule, train, and supervise volunteers during scheduled shifts (approximately 1800 per week)* Fill 100% of call-ins or no shows for volunteer positions.* Support recruitment, recognition and retention efforts. * Serve as liaison between GKTW staff and volunteers and meet with appropriate supervising staff on a regular basis. * Solve volunteer conflicts and reporting incidents and challenges. * Manage special projects and large volunteer groups. * Daily reporting and maintaining schedules of designated areas. * Represent Give Kids The World at assigned community events and fulfilling speaking engagements.* Conduct new volunteer orientations and Village tours as necessary. * Compose content for monthly volunteer communications. * Facilitate specialized volunteer training sessions. * Clerical duties such as answering phones, lobby desk coverage, submitting work orders and requisitioning supplies. * Coordinate in conjunction with various departments to produce successful volunteer experiences.
