• Oversee wishes, encompassing all aspects of the wish granting process through completion.• Implement wish-granting training programs for volunteers, including orientation and continuing education. Includes ongoing support, guidance, and periodical evaluations of volunteer performance.• Further the organization’s in-kind resources; encourage and engage the chapter’s wish granters to seek and secure in-kind services and products for wishes.• Communicate with health care professionals, volunteers, and family members to ensure each wish proceeds in the best interest of the child.• Update and keep current wish database files, including liability and medical forms, on each child to ensure compliance with National Standards and Chapter guidelines.

* Greet, schedule, train, and supervise volunteers during scheduled shifts (approximately 1800 per week)* Fill 100% of call-ins or no shows for volunteer positions.* Support recruitment, recognition and retention efforts. * Serve as liaison between GKTW staff and volunteers and meet with appropriate supervising staff on a regular basis. * Solve volunteer conflicts and reporting incidents and challenges. * Manage special projects and large volunteer groups. * Daily reporting and maintaining schedules of designated areas. * Represent Give Kids The World at assigned community events and fulfilling speaking engagements.* Conduct new volunteer orientations and Village tours as necessary. * Compose content for monthly volunteer communications. * Facilitate specialized volunteer training sessions. * Clerical duties such as answering phones, lobby desk coverage, submitting work orders and requisitioning supplies. * Coordinate in conjunction with various departments to produce successful volunteer experiences.
