With over five years of work experience, I am a dedicated and skilled legal assistant who specializes in intellectual property law. I am passionate about helping clients protect their innovations and creative works, and I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team at The Webb Law Firm, an IP law firm in Pittsburgh.As an intellectual property legal assistant, I assist two to three attorneys by managing dockets, drafting and revising correspondence, preparing and filing legal documents, and conducting research using the USPTO. I have also contributed to the training of new hire legal assistants, sharing my knowledge and best practices. Additionally, I have a background in journalism which enhances my communication and writing skills, while my prior position as an emergency dispatcher enhances my ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
