I was born into a position of leadership. As the third of six children, I received great responsibility at a young age which helped me flourish. When I started my collegiate learning in 2013, I set the goal of earning my degree in three years. My mindset was on the future; my time management skills would be better, the ability to meet deadlines improved and I was financially more secure because of this decision. I studied public relations at Waynesburg University because I felt it would give me the most well rounded education and prepare me for a versatile job position. My vision is to use my degree to help others, but this is not limited to nonprofit organizations. I believe that any position can be constructed to help people, whether this be a client, employer or friend. During my time at Waynesburg University I worked closely with the Office of Institutional Advancement as a student worker and summer intern. Through classes and personal drive, I have pushed myself to work with the Waynesburg University Public Relations Student Society of America, Greene Community Church, Father Son Camp East, Greene County Corner Cupboard Food Bank and Waynesburg Chamber of Commerce. Through my involvement in these organizations I have been mentored in the best practices for wide variety of sectors in public relations. My vision has shaped my collegiate experience and will continue to guide me as I begin my career.
