In my current position I develop employees, design and conduct institutional research, and analyze the statistical data and results. I work with my team to understand institutional objectives, identify the appropriate methodology, statistical approach, and final product design. To turn data into knowledge, I write and oversee reports detailing research methodology, results, and implications for future actions Toastmasters could take. I collaborate across all departments, stakeholders, partners, and vendors to inform further research and share findings. The data sharing helps form strategies for different evidence-based, data-driven solutions for specific institutional problems. Presenting research proposals and reports to all levels of institutional audiences is a particularly rewarding part of my responsibilities as well as guiding and producing content for peer reviewed journals.Other successes include:• Analyzed member groups and created profiles of members with high risk of terminating membership. Participated in implementing interventions based on profiles to address member concerns.• Compiled and evaluated text analytics for institutional messaging and consumer feedback. Results provided themes for proactive magazine articles addressing consumer concerns and interests.• Evaluated membership and benefits pricing strategies worldwide and recommended modifications for consideration and further research. Increased average daily traffic to GSA website by over 119% and annual traffic by 126% over 3 years as Webmaster for the University at Buffalo Graduate Student Association. Projects include migrating existing club websites to WordPress system, encouraging clubs to create websites, hosting tutorials on website creation and management, setting up and implementing paperless templates for common GSA forms, and general maintenance and problem-solving for GSA member clubs.
